In English First historical book about Mallabhaum Kingdom was written by O.Malley. Abhaya Pada Mallick also wrote. In Bengali Manoranjan Chanda wrote. None of these books said Chaitanya Singha signed treaty with Maratha. In fact a

That book is based on O Malley's Bankura District Gazetter, Abhayapada Mallick. These books didn't mention Chaitanya Singh paid chauth. And Historians like Jadunath Sarkar, Ramesh Chandra Majumdar didn't mention Mallabhum was involved in the battle with Marathas. It was actually the fight between The Nawabs of Bengal and Marathas.
