The Japanese era name list identifies Chōkyū as the nengō for the period spanning the years 1040 through 1044.
I take it that "Chōkyū" is preferred. I take it that "Chokyu|Chōkyū" is less preferable.
If this reasoning is flawed, I'd appreciate it if someone would please explain. Ooperhoofd 20:29, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
