Historical mistakes
edit"it served as the centre of the historical province of Brittany until its separation in 1956"
The historical province of Brittany ended in 1789, with the creation of the départements (as all other provinces in France).
In 1956, were created the régions, notably the Brittany region with four departements, without Loire-Atlantique and Nantes.
Between 1789 and 1956, there was no official "Brittany" in France, moreover no center of it.
Concerning historical Brittany, the capital was Rennes, seat of the Parlement de Bretagne) from XVI° to XVIII° century. Nantes was the ducal residence only during the XV° century, under François II and Anne de Bretagne. AUBRIANT (talk) 19:06, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
