External links edit

I have removed the external link to the subject's web site because it is flagged by Google as downloading malware - see [1]. Phil Bridger (talk) 09:30, 7 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to Centsports, they received an advertisement that contained malware. They have since fixed the problem. 24.218.218.80 (talk) 00:42, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to a thread on their own site, they are trying to fix the problem but cannot find the source so visitors occasionally (rarely) pick up trojans. Shouldn't this be noted in the article? [2] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.249.1.162 (talk) 02:21, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

hmm edit

anyone care to explain what User:71.231.98.61 is trying to do by changing the URL from www.centsports.com to www.centsports.com/?opcode=xxxxx/? --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 05:57, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

if someone were to use that link to sign up, he would get a referral bonus, I think it's 5% of whatever they win. TheMan232 (talk) 06:29, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agree It's most likely a referral code, some gambling sites offer affiliate programs, where they give a bonus of some type, but these same sites often have a anti-spam rule where they may lose all their referrals and are block. btw I x'ed out the opcode, hope u don't mind▪◦▪≡SiREX≡ Talk 06:44, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
It happens occasionally on the articles for gambling sites, but normally the vandals aren't so fanatical. It's just an affiliate tracking code. The person would earn some sort of benefit for people clicking the link. 2005 (talk) 07:31, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cashing out edit

Anyone want to write about how it is near impossible to cash out even if you ever do make it above $20? 173.168.239.245 (talk) 03:35, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
