Talk:Central technology belt

Latest comment: 13 years ago by Ruzihm in topic Article guidelines

I've read the guidelines for creating a company article and have edited and referenced to adhere to these guidelines as best possible. I would rather this article have just two lines of relevant content, which we can then add to in future, than it be deleted completely.

I am new to Wikipedia, so please could someone explain to me more clearly what content in particular is not acceptable, rather than deleting the whole article. Please feel free to remove content which does not adhere to the guidelines.

Thanks

Article guidelines edit

Here's some advice for keeping your article from being deleted. Please take this as constructive criticism.

  • Follow the guidelines for company articles here and here.
  • Follow Wikipedia's manual of style, here.
  • Use the articles of other, similar companies as examples. If the article is part of the Companies Wikiproject, it my have a quality rating you can see on the talk page. See IBM for C-class quality, Oracle Corporation for B-class quality, Blue Network for A-class quality, BAE Systems for featured article quality. An overview of the quality scale, along with criteria can be found here.
  • Don't remove speedy deletion tags. Admins periodically check pages for recent constructive activity and if there is a {{hangon}} tag. They will remove the deletion tags if the article is no longer applicable for deletion at their discretion.

I'll be watching this page. Post questions here and we'll see what we can do. Ruzihm (talk) 15:17, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

This does seem to be notable enough - sources have been provided. Why don't we take this to AfD? -- Eraserhead1 <talk> 17:50, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'll do it. -- Rick Van Tassel user|talk|contribs 18:11, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Ok, it's been nominated. Please read Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#How to discuss an AfD before entering the discussion. -- Rick Van Tassel user|talk|contribs 18:38, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
