Map Broken

edit

Can anyone help restore the broken map in the infobox? It was using an incorrect map (West LA) so the pushpin was pointing to a different area. I fixed the map with the correct one (Central LA) but now the entire infobox is gone. Any help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ILovetoEditWikis (talkcontribs) 18:47, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Removal of geographical navbox

edit

I've restored the geographical navbox under the principle Wikipedia:You can't follow all the rules, all the time (and some others, too, like WP:Bold, revert, discuss). The idea is to make the encyclopedia better, not worse. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 20:46, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you wish to change the rule - that is - to change to usage noted for this template - The place to discuss it is over at talk:Adjacent_communities#Geographic_Boxes[1] Phatblackmama (talk) 23:38, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thomas Guide

edit

I have removed the references to the Thomas Guide as - upon checking - this "neighborhood" is not indicated anywhere. The area in question has only a name of "South Los Angeles" over it. "Central-Alameda" is not a neighborhood - at least according to the Thomas Guide. Phatblackmama (talk) 00:09, 7 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
