Uncited distribution section and controversy therein edit

So an IP editor just made this edit. I have no idea what the usual procedure on WP is for this, and we can't just fall back on the sources because there aren't any. Invasive Spices (talk) 19:43, 21 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Invasive Spices: As it clearly wasn't a typo fix, as suggested in the edit summary, my normal reaction might be simply to revert the edit, explaining why. But if there aren't sources, my next step is to go look for some, which shouldnt be too hard. Try this for starters. What really needs fixing is the lack of clarity between its native range and its established (introduced) range. Sorry I can't offer more input on this right now.
