Compare pictures

Side-by-side images make the article flow better and readers can see the differences more easily, so I've made this change. I also fixed two captions that were marked after but should have been marked before, and changed the size of the first image in the article for consistancy with the rest of the article.121.208.180.8 (talk) 14:40, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Nikolai Yezhov Picture

The two pictures for the Nikolai Yezhov section seem like two separate pictures, not a before and after. The perspective of the background scenery seems to change between the two pictures and the distance between Stalin and the guy behind him differs between the two, or at least it looks like it does. Just thought i should let you know. Megothier (talk) 01:02, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Censorship of images in the Soviet UnionCensorship of images in the Soviet Union under Stalin — The entire article describes the situation of Stalinist U.S.S.R. After Stalin's death, De-Stalinization was carried out. — Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:32, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Survey

Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
  • The current title is the simplest unambiguous option, and so our policies prefer it. If there's scope to expand the article, change the article to help the readers, not the title. Knepflerle (talk) 23:48, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose - It isn't a necessary disambiguation. The article could even be about censorship of images in only one year of the Soviet Union, and if there were no other articles about censorship in the Soviet Union, it would still be an appropriate title. 199.125.109.59 (talk) 04:14, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
