Death

edit

Didnt he die in the movie? --172.164.25.152 05:37, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

No. You may be thinking of Haldir. TCC (talk) (contribs) 07:52, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

A slight edition needed, maybe?

edit

He is the father of Celebrían, the wife of Elrond, and thus the grandfather of Arwen Evenstar and her older brothers Elladan and Elrohir.

I'm not entirely sure about this, but doesn't that mean Celeborn is the father of Celebrian and the wife of Elrond? :D
If this is an error, please fix it. My native language isn't English so... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.154.52.137 (talk) 10:52, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is perfectly correct English since the part the wife of Elrond (the correct grammar term eludes me right now) belongs to Celebrian, not He.--Fogeltje (talk) 19:51, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thanks. --91.154.52.137 (talk) 19:51, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

And actually, he is related to Thingol because he is the son of Galadhon, son of Elmo, brother of Olwë and Elwë, according to Christopher Tolkien in his "Unfinished Tales". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.136.166.11 (talk) 22:43, 1 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Silver?

edit

I have checked various sites and whatnots, but I still can't grasp what his haircolour is. "Silver" is either a reference to platinum blond, or actually grey-ish white. Anyone got sources or anything that could shed some light on this? Hackeru (talk) 21:23, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Silver is silver. Self explanatory. But this article is very poorly written, and much of the speculation it contains is simply wrong. Celeborn did not 'call the White Council to Middle-earth,' the information abut the character's origin in the Legendarium is garbled, the 'box' containing info at the end is wrong (East Lorien was not abandoned, etc.), and various other problems are present-- and that's just after a quick read! This is really a mess and needs serious revision and clean-up. 222.230.128.44 (talk) 11:40, 29 March 2012 (UTC)TexxasFinnReply
