Queen Charlotte's disapproval

edit

I have removed the reference to Queen Charlotte's disapproval of the marriage. Queen Charlotte had died in 1818, thirteen years before the marriage took place. Peter symonds 10:30, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Arms

edit

The text refers to an escutcheon, but surely she would have borne hers on a lozenge. Robin S. Taylor (talk) 08:42, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Second wife

edit

I have changed reference to her being his second his wife. The marriage was in contravention on the Royal marriages act and was thus legally void.
