abandoned? edit

If Britain abandoned Hong Kong, then surely the Battle of Hong Kong from 8 December to Xmas Day 1941 would not have happened? Winston Churchill was not that stupid! He needed to at least put up a fight in order to reclaim the colony after the end of WWII, which was exactly what happened. Kommodorekerz 02:01, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Harcourt was my great-uncle. I'll see if I can drag up a pic from the family archives.Wwwhatsup 23:46, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sotheby's sale of medals and memorabilia edit

Harcourt's medals and some other memorabilia were put on sale at Sotheby's in 2018. The catalog contains a fairly extensive biography, and a couple of good photos. Wwwhatsup (talk) 04:25, 15 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
