Cebu Pacific is to resume Incheon flights (thrice a week) as it uses the new terminal three on April 1, 2006.

Busan

edit

On the Mactan-Cebu International Airport airline page a lot of people keep on puting Busan as one of their international destination. User:Michael.angelo placed in the history page of the airport that see the airport's website but the website of the airport is not updated frequently. Can somebody give me sources please. It's driving me nuts. --chris 10:28, 26 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

WorldPerks

edit

As of now, according to both Cebu Pacific and Northwest Airlines, WorldPerks miles can be awarded and redeemed on all Cebu Pacific flights. Check this: http://www.nwa.com/corpinfo/allia/. --Sky Harbor 09:25, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nope, you're wrong there the website you gave hasn't been upgraded in months. As of August 1, 2006 World Perks miles cannot be awarded on 5J operated flights check this site. chris 08:28, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
The link that Chris cited says that Cebu Pacific is a "redeem only" partner. So WorldPerks members can redeem credited miles to fly Cebu Pacific for free, this is significant and must be mentioned in the article. Jordz

inflight entertainment

edit

Does Cebu Pacific offer inflight entertainment? Even monitors for safety videos and audio channels? -Paolo-58.69.5.169 06:38, 26 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello there, I'm sorry but Cebu Pacific does not offer inflight entertainment. Their safety procedures (or whatever you call it) are being done manually (a perosn demonstrates them live in the plane). And they don't have audio channels. But they do have their so-called "FunFlights", where-in they like play games (examples: Bring me, etc.). And between 3 to 5 passengers will get prizes. But there service is pretty good their actually better than Philippine Airlines and cheaper (as in way cheaper). And they have leather seating on all flights which Philippine Airlines doesn't offer (even on international flights), their planes are new. And they actually don't give out newspapers, tea, blankets, etc. They do give out juice or coffee on flights. I hope this answered your question. -chris 15:52, 26 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cebu Pacific's Market share

edit

Shouldn't it be on the history part of the article that Ceb Pac recently surpassed PAL in the domestic market share? Based on the survey, that it surpassed Philippine Airlines by a percent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mildrckfr (talkcontribs)

Yes, I do think that it should be on the history page of the article. -chris^_^ 23:15, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Xiamen and Shanghai?

edit

It says in the official website that they're gonna start going to Xiamen and Shanghai. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 219.73.13.54 (talk) 14:59, 14 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

Sorry, but I can't find the press article on their website. Can you please give me the link? -chris^_^ 15:09, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oooh...5J flies to Caticlan

edit

I saw in this article that Cebu Pacific will use their ATR-72s to start flights to Boracay (as in straight to Caticlan, not Kalibo). Should I add that in the destinations list? --Sky Harbor 10:22, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

We shouldn't add that for it has not been announced by the airline itself... and most "predictions" of SunStar didn't even happen like NWA flying a CEB-NRT-USA route, and other future routes of new airlines... therefore SunStar isn't reliable. -chris^_^ 17:47, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I just read the article and 5J only said "It will allow as to fly to Boracay (direct) via Caticlan", therefore stating they did not say anything about planning or launching services to Caticlan... therefore it is only like a prediction. -chris^_^ 17:54, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Here's a better source: "Philippines' Cebu Pacific to buy 14 ATR planes for 275 mln usd - update". Forbes.com. May 24, 2007. Retrieved 2007-06-03. We are addressing the Boracay opportunity with our new planes,' said Gokongwei, apart from aiming 'to create new markets in other local destinations.' {{cite web}}: Check date values in: |date= (help) -- Boracay Bill 04:22, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
I just read a much better article it was in the latest of their Smile mag. It says, "Hello Boracay (and many more)!", something like that. I'll be adding it today. -chris^_^ 05:32, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Info in Fleet section may be outdated/incorrect

edit

The article asserts (without citing a source) that Cebu Pacific has 4 A320-200 in operation, 12 on order and 12 on option

This article contains a Lance Gokongwei quote saying, We are buying up to 20 additional Airbus A320s for our domestic and regional operations. The order is made up of 10 firm orders with five options, and an additional five options if the first five options are taken'. -- Boracay Bill 04:36, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I believe you can find the source on their official site. -chris^_^ 05:16, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I looked here and couldn't find any info on fleet composition. I didn't spend much time searching for it, though. -- Boracay Bill 06:40, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Macau

edit

According to a Philippine Star article that I just read (feel free to link to the online version), Cebu Pacific is now considering starting flights to Macau. No timetable has been set, but should we put it in the list of destinations anyway? --Sky Harbor 05:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

If 5J just said considering, then we should not place it online. We should only place it, if they are "really" gonna fly to Macau. -chris^_^ 08:56, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sheesh! Has anyone here read WP:V? -- Boracay Bill 12:11, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
5J just announced that they are starting flights from CRK to MFM, as well as flights from CRK to BKK, HKG, SIN, and TPE, but these are yet pending government approval from all concerned governments. So I'm now gonna add MFM as a destination of CEB, as well as stating that CRK is a planned focus city of 5J. I'll be posting the link in the article page of 5J. -chris^_^ 09:18, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Their CRK plans where unsuccessful, i have cleaned and fixed up the links and information as well as cleaned the article up and organised it. Also have added a few more snips of History to help the article grow a bit more, tomauer (talk) 05:18, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cebu Pacific Air or Cebu Pacific

edit

Which one should we used? —Preceding unsigned comment added by F-16Pilot (talkcontribs) 15:22, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Did some editing

edit

I did some editing: I removed "5J" on flights on the Incidents and Accidents section. Example: "Cebu Pacific Flight 5J387" has been edited to "Cebu Pacific Flight 387". Johngabriel.ibay (talk) 19:30, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
