Possible reason for lack of popularity edit

Whereas Carmina Burana is a favourite showpiece for amateur choirs, Catulli Carmina is simply too difficult for them. An amateur choir performing Catulli Carmina would need to maintain its pitch throughout the unaccompanied central section (lasting some 15 minutes); any deviation from the original pitch would be exposed as soon as the orchestra returns for the final section. 86.4.253.180 (talk) 03:33, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
