Removal of content

edit

Re: @Nikkimaria: removal of content at Cathy Baker (actress) - It's easy to simply remove content based on what one deems not a reliable source; but the truth still remains that the statement is true regardless. A good editor searches for a reliable source WP:RS rather than simply removing content within articles; or leaves content and places a "citation needed" template for other editors to add their own research. Hi Maineartists, per policy the burden is on the editor wanting to add the material to Wikipedia to support it with a reliable source. Nikkimaria (talk) 03:49, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
Nikkimaria Ah, policy. So? What good does that do in creating a better article? Maineartists (talk) 04:09, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
It guides good editors to use good sources to give articles they create a stronger foundation. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:33, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
