Inspired by Grand Canyon Suite edit

This reliably sourced claim fascinates me, because I'm pretty familiar with both works and don't hear any resemblance. I suppose "inspired by" doesn't necessarily translate to "sounds like," but I wish the source were more specific about just what the inspiration was. Richard K. From This to Please Please Me? edit

From this to Please Please Me? Based on what? Mark Savage of the BBC? Who don't even give him a bio page? OK let's see. One voice stays at the same (upper) pitch. The other descends. So this is copying from one act to another? Perhaps if you got a quote from Macca, but otherwise this is just too 'pseudo'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a01:cb18:2ba:e300:98d7:7222:15f8:1789 (talk) 2a01:cb18:2ba:e300:98d7:7222:15f8:1789 (UTC)

I realize this is years later, but I changed the copy to relect the source more accurately. Tom Reedy (talk) 04:12, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Cathy's Clown (The Everly Brothers song)Cathy's ClownWP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:TWODABS. The hatnote to Cathy's Clown (You Am I song) would seem to suffice. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 20:47, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. This just reverts an undiscussed move from 1 July. Could have been a technical request, and can be a speedy close. This song gets overwhelmimg pageviews. - Station1 (talk) 04:54, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. The original undiscussed move was unnecessary, and this article is easily the primary topic. Vmanjr (talk) 20:14, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and undiscussed move to this article name. Richard3120 (talk) 01:02, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
