Article Assigned for Additions I will be adding information from primary sources that are available in my campus library, such as Notable Women in the Physical Sciences: A Biographical Dictionary and the book American Men and Women of Science 2013. These readings include a more in depth description of Dr. Garmany's studies and scientific history to accompany her general personal history already on the page. Great start to the article. I know it may be tough to think of a way to describe who Catharine is, but I think the first sentence needs a little more substance to it than she is an astronomer. Perhaps where she is employed as an astronomer like " is an astronomer at the university of Indiana" or specify her actual job title. Overall I think it is a great article ! I thought the article was pretty informative, but also pretty general. Considering that she is still working and researching, I was surprised that her research wasn't touched on more. I think that would enhance the article even further!

I agree with the previous person. If you are able to find more details on her research or on her life in general, it would greatly improve the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hakekid (talkcontribs) 03:59, 1 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I think that more research could be helpful in furthering your article. I think the most beneficial information would be that related to her research. (Belles18 (talk) 04:15, 1 October 2016 (UTC))Reply

I think this article is off to a good start, but I think it is too brief right now. Perhaps adding more information about her research and biography of her life might strengthen the article. Her research sounds very interesting so it would be nice to have a few more details about it. Chemistry17 (talk) 17:17, 1 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

More information within this article is needed, as it is too brief. As she is still living, there should be more information available about her research. Additionally, it may be nice to be able to include information about her life in general and not only how it applies to chemistry. --Jellybean913 (talk) 22:37, 2 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
