Source for ratings citations edit

The ratings numbers were flagged as "citation needed". I added a citation for BARB (Broadcasters' Audience Research Board), the primary source of TV ratings for the UK. The BARB publishing guidelines (http://www.barb.co.uk/about-us/barb-publishing-guidelines/) state: "Data available to the public on the BARB website can be published without a BARB publishing licence, although reproduction must be credited accordingly." As the ratings numbers are available to the public (I got them by accessing the web site from the US with no special account access) and suitable credit has been supplied, the publishing requirements are fulfilled.

To retrieve the ratings for any week, select only Channel 4 (SD+HD) in the channel listing on the left, then pick the appropriate year, month, and week on the right. Weeks that straddle a month boundary are in the end month, not the start month.

Why nothing telling readers the theme of the show? edit

@Jim Michael and Scribolt: can you help? I came here to find out more about what the show is about. There's a line in the lead which doesn't help, and the episode summaries, but no summary. I found two recent Guardian reviews that might help.[1][2] Doug Weller talk 13:58, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

'series' or 'season'? edit

The opening paragraphs mention second 'series', third and fourth 'series'. Shouldn't this be 'season'? Or is this a Britishism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.1.118.146 (talk) 20:40, 7 April 2019 (UTC) --Rymanes (talk) 20:42, 7 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Series is British English for what Americans call a season. Jim Michael (talk) 12:42, 8 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Final episode synopsis edit

The description of the last scene, "The couple swim in the sea", is not really an adequate summary. As this article argues, it's a hugely important and ambiguous scene. At the very least, the episode summary needs to mention the warning sign, which Rob saw but Sharon did not. --Viennese Waltz 12:14, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Nearly four years later, I felt exactly the same and made the changes before thinking to check the talk page... BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 15:30, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
