Casper, California → Caspar, California – to clear up the spelling mistake. (Don't worry, CalTrans didn't get it right the first time either, as the patched road sign attests.)

No, it's not. "Zip Code Tabulation Area" was a new category in the 2000 census.

And don't ask me what the difference between a CDP and a ZCTA is, because I have no idea, but on the census gazetteer they are differentiated.--Meloukhia
