I just added "Cashmere wood, the name of a scent in the perfume industry." Unfortunately, I can't even attempt an article because no one outside the perfume industry seems to know what it is! A google search comes up with hundreds of different colognes and perfumes, but absolutely no clarification on what exactly this scent is made from. Annoying! I moved it to the bottom because it doesn't have an article. 90.202.114.77 (talk) 18:06, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring edit

Is there some phrase in both of the revisions we keep switching between that annoys people? Could we perhaps combine both of them to get something like:

Another term for Kashmir, a territory near India and Pakistan

Assuming that the wording is what is causing the edit warring, there are two other things besides the wording that need to be considered. First, according to the MOS on disambiguation pages there should only be one link per item-thus we shouldn't link to the India and Pakistan articles. Second the MOS on order of entries for dab pages doesn't place a link to the Kashmir article at the top. Loggie (talk) 11:37, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems to me that there is only one user who is causing this dispute; the IP address 71.106.182.162 who is persistently reverting to an edit of their own - as opposed to anyone else's - preference. I have placed what appears to be a 2nd warning in two days asking this user to stop making these reverts. Hopefully that will be that. Setwisohi (talk) 15:06, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually this version is more accurate as can be seen from this map - although "Another term for Kashmir, a territory divided between India and Pakistan" would be better. Pahari Sahib 07:41, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive endless reverts by an anon IP edit

As it is happening again, I have re-checked the edit history and it does seem that there is just one user who is causing this problem with this article. I've asked him/her to explain his/her reasons on this page, but the response has been to - yes, you've guessed it - revert the page again. As I don't know what more to do with such a mindset I think I'll leave it at that. But if the article does go on being reverted, by this same user, I suggest someone brings this user to the notice of an admin. Setwisohi (talk) 08:41, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Led Zeppelin, Kashmir edit

The rock band Led Zeppelin has a very popular song named Kashmir. 184.91.255.66 (talk) 21:05, 15 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
