Contesting the Speedy Deletion edit

To whom it may concern Carrigaline Pottery is a defunct business that produced decorative and useful ceramics. They are collected by "collectors" and the like. It is, I think nice to have a little article as I saw it mentioned on TV as someone was valuing one of its pots and looked it up on wikipedia hopeing to find something but there was nothing except the claim on the Carrigaline page that it had a "world-famous pottery". So I made this little article. I have no self interest - just idle curiousity.

Further evidence of notability: The Irish Times - Saturday, August 21, 2010 “Ever since I was a boy I’ve loved old things,” says ceramics collector Peter Lamb, recalling early finds such as an embossed leather wallet and a lacquered fire screen. His introduction to pottery came at the age of 10, when his parents took him to Arklow Pottery, Belleek and Carrigaline." [1] Perhaps you could suggest more directly what was needed or add something to help.

Not sure about if this meets WP:CORP - don't think the ref's support that, but accept that it now a claim to significance so am removing the CSD tag, please try and find some more sources. Codf1977 (talk) 15:22, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Added another source. Should sources like the above Irish Times one be added - I havent added it? It would not seem useful to the article other than just to prove it is notable. But it is reading something like that - that might make one want to find out about it. Is it OK to remove the tag? (Msrasnw (talk) 15:39, 30 September 2010 (UTC))Reply
