Someone was making an unconstructive edit to the article, which was reverted just after you posted your discussion page comment. Her birth year has since been corrected to 1983. -- Luke4545 (talk) 02:54, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Underwood now edges out Kelly Clarkson for the top-selling American Idol of all time by approximately 100,000 albums in the American market. Counting international sales, Clarkson has sold approximately 21 million albums while Underwood has sold between 14 and 15 million. This is a distinction that needs to be made.
