  • I think you mean Arête rather than Arete.   Done
  • " larger mountain walking routes" by larger do you really mean longer?   Done
  • " as Old Red Sandstone" there appears no reason for this to be italicised.   Done
  • "The three levels of " why is three levels in italics?   Done
  • Indeed, a lot of the landforms noted are in italics, I don't think there's a good reason for that. – Being Ireland's largest mountain, I believe that some of these terms are reasonably widely known (especially amongst climbers), and thus have put into italics?
  • Devonian is mentioned in the infobox but nowhere else.   Done updated Geology section
  • "3,000-foot (910 m) in " this shouldn't be adj=on!   Done
  • "steel cross. In 2014, this steel cross" repetitive.   Done
  • " (Ballinskelligs Sandstone Formation)" is mentioned in the infobox but nowhere else.   Done updated Geology section
  • "Climber and author Jim Ryan" avoid false titles, so "The climber and author.."   Done
  • "eleven shillings and two cents " not pence? Strange...   Done - this must be pence
  • "70 cents " if this is Euro cents, link it.   Done
  • "A State-sponsored " why capital S?   Done
  • "the IT still " no clue about this abbreviation.   Done Irish Times
  • "park?".[30]" remove the full stop.   Done
  • "n 2018; the" a comma rather than a semi-colon here.   Done
  • "attended over 40 fatalities" more than.   Done
  • " noting that "many in the" grammar doesn't work for me here. many were? or start the quote later, i.e. noting that many were..."   Done, started quote later.
  • " the col between" col is overlinked.   Done
  • " above the col of the" here too.   Done
  • Two single-sentence paras there, could they be merged into other appropriate paras?   Done
  • Check completeness of refs, i.e ref 33 has no accessdate.   Done
  • Make sure date formats are consistent, e.g. ref 21 uses ISO while others use DMY.   Done
  • DoBIH is overlinked.   Done
  • Iveragh Peninsula is mentioned as a category but nowhere else in the article.   Done very good spot!

That's it for the first pass, so on hold. Cheers. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 10:42, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for that The Rambling Man, much appreciated. Have made all the above changes except for the use of italics for features - being Ireland's highest mountain, I think that these terms are more widely known, and thus wanted to highlight? Looking forward to your comments. Britishfinance (talk) 11:47, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

No worries. Re: italics, I haven't seen anything in MOS either prohibiting or encouraging the use of italics in these circumstances (unless I'm mistaken of course) so I think as long as you apply a consistent approach i.e. italics for every single instance, then I probably can't quibble in this GA review. Let me know your thoughts, and I'll do a final review later. Cheers. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 12:03, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Great The Rambling Man. I have fixed it that where italics are used, it is consistent throughout. Hopefully, that works. Thanks again. Britishfinance (talk) 12:34, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
