Sourcing edit

In cleaning up this article I cleaned up some of the sourcing. In particular, this didn't seem like a reliable source StarM 02:45, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Additional info edit

I've updated the information with comparisons to Ingrid Christensen and moved the article from Stub to Start due to the additional references. Also, have upgraded from Low to Mid importance as a historical Antarctic figure! T.Shafee(Evo﹠Evo)talk 03:57, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

First women in the Antarctic edit

Adolf Amandus Andresen, who established whaling from Deception Island in 1906, brought his wife Betsie Mary Rasmussen to the Antarctic island several times! This was reported by Jean-Baptiste Charcot on his second expedition to Antarctica. Should by possible to find a reference here: Commons:Category:Le pourquoi-pas dans l'Antarctique - 4ing (talk) 13:59, 27 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
