Both my brother and I went to Bristol Grammar (1993-2000, my brother is 5years older than me), and although i agree with the main sentiments about Carmen Bristoliense, it is not true that the 'tradition' of shouting both the 'Sit clarior, Sit dignior' and 'Quotquot' was after 1997, we were doing it years before then, in fact i can't remember ever not, although replacing 'sit' with 'shit' was after my time, i think. in fact it was my brother and his year who taught us that in my first year, when we learnt the song in the first place.

I was at BGS 1990-1998 and remember even from the very earliest the shouting of Quotquot, who is the 1997 6th-Former who is making this claim?Darqmann (talk) 14:37, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, this is tedious nonsense. In the 1960s we shouted quot quot and indulged in several variations such as substituting "shit" for "sit" - and I'm sure our predecessors did so too. But it's trivia that doesn't belong here, in any case. I have deleted. GNUSMAS : TALK 16:17, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please don't include school song to the school article edit

I understand that the AfD went through with a result of "merge". Please don't merge the lyrics of the song to the article, per WP:WPSCH/AG. Cheers. ˜danjel [ talk | contribs ] 14:22, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
