Erroneous Infobox photos edit

The "Carmel-by-the-Sea, California" infobox includes photos of 3 objects that are not found in Carmel-by-the Sea:

1. the Lone Cypress is in adjacent Pebble Beach, California;

2. the Chateau Julien Wine Estate is in adjacent Carmel Valley, California;

3. the Joullian Vineyards Tasting Room is likewise in Carmel Valley, not in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Perhaps someone could replace these erroneous images?

Thanks.

I have deleted four photos from the infobox as erroneous (three) or uncommunicative.

List of mayors edit

Local politicians are not necessarily notable, but you may add information to a notable topic article even if that info would not be notable in and of itself. Still, I'm reluctant to add this because the article is already fairly long. But in case it might be useful, on pages 79–80 of this document from the city's website there is a list of the city's mayors from the beginning up to 2008. See US Cities Guideline, Settlements: Article structure and U.S. municipality notes. No need to add non-notable information to Wikipedia that is easily available. Lists are the worst since the encyclopedia is meant to be prose. Your hesitation was correct. Cheers Fettlemap (talk) 14:06, 18 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

NPOV questionable source edit

"carmelcalifornia.com" is an advocacy group intended to increase economic activities in California and since Wikipedia is not intended to boost tourism, I think its use is questionable. See what that group is about https://www.carmelcalifornia.com/visit-carmel-hid/ Graywalls (talk) 18:15, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
