  •   Article looks ready to me. It's new and long enough and properly referenced. I would personally like to see a bit more context about "the 1921 revolution" in the hook though, but don't think that's a very big issue. AGF on the offline/Spanish sources. @Kingoflettuce and Soman: The hostage part is not clear in the article and I tagged it with [who?]? Bruxton (talk) 20:56, 3 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I removed the [who] template. It is evident from the article text that the 'trio' of boys that had been proteges of Funes consist of Carlos Santana Tovar/Pedro Nolasco/Pedro López. --Soman (talk) 21:01, 3 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Kingoflettuce and Soman: I am unable to learn that from the sentence or the paragraph and we need to observe WP:DYKHFC. I am hoping to promote this when it is fixed. Bruxton (talk) 21:31, 3 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Soman: I am coming back to the nomination to see if you will consider complying with the WP:DYKHFC guideline as stated above. Bruxton (talk) 19:06, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've added the names in bracket. --Soman (talk) 11:42, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Soman: Thank you for that, I have also moved one citation to end of sentence in order to comply with WP:DYKHFC. After the hook runs at DYK you can remove it. Bruxton (talk) 23:51, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
