Page moves
editI have undone User:Vladwin's recent moves of this page about the Cornish settlement (titled "Carland Cross") to "Carland Cross (Cornwall)" as it contravenes the titling styles of settlements, outlined at WP:NCDAB and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Disambiguation. I note that this user has tried moving this article before and has had this undone as well, after work on a character and TV series of the same name, although no disambiguation page was subsequently set up at "Carland Cross".
If it is thought that none of these articles are the primary topic then the disambiguation page needs to reside at "Carland Cross". Before doing so and moving this page, please read WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and follow the instructions at WP:MOVE to requested a move, and discuss it on this talk page page prior to the move. What is Carland Cross?
editI did my own search on Google but found very little info. What I'm really after however, is what IS Carland Cross: A "settlement" (as described in the article), wind farm...roundabout? It's not made 100% clear, only that it is a "location". Can it be clarified? --Porthenys (talk) 22:05, 27 March 2013 (UTC) I have simple added "hamlet" to the top of the page. If that's incorrect let me know. Heavens, I am from the area but I've never heard of Carland Cross!--Porthenys (talk) 22:18, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
