The Cariboo Mountains are the northernmost subrange of the Columbia Mountains,

Actually, that's only in some classification systems. I can't remember if it's in S. Holland's Landforms of British Columbia that way, or in another, but some systems exclude the Cariboos from the Columbia Mountains; presumably putting them in the Interior Plateau, or as stand-alones. This variance in classification should be reflected, as some definitions of the Columbia Mountains put the boundary at the North Thompson/Canoe Rivers.Skookum1 06:29, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
