This is almost synonymous with West Indies. There is virtually nothing notable that is different. It was in any case badly referenced. Laurel Lodged (talk) 10:09, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am reverting your bold deletion of this article. The diff is that the Caribbean Basin includes the continental countries, the West Indies do not, they are only the islands. See for example the Caribbean Basin Initiative, which included the countries of Central America. See also the definition of basin.—Mariordo (talk) 04:05, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
