I don't have any reliable sources I can cite but I can tell you that card-throwing was once popular amongst kids who collected sport trading cards, as a game and a method of obtaining more cards for their collections. They would line up cards along the wall in a standing position, then they would fling another card at them trying to aim for whichever card they wanted and if they knocked it down it would be theirs. At least that's how I think the rules went.. if there even were any "official rules". From what I remember this was popular in the 80s, although I'm not surprised it fell out of fashion considering their precious cards just get bent and wrecked during the process. -- œ 10:17, 23 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Aditya Kodmur Card throwing champion

For Solapur, Maharashtra, India. Aditya Kodmur is known for throwing playing cards most accurately, farthest, highest, hardest and most in a minute. He throws playing cards soo good that he was able to perform and break the record highest throw of a playing card in just few weeks!
