Nitrogen rich fertilizer? edit

The following is a quote from the article:

"It will adapt well to this trimming if adequate water and nitrogen-rich fertilizer is supplied, and will regrow about 4 feet per year until reaching the desired height."

Now, this does not make sense, since this plant has an abundant nitrogen source of it's own, because of the nitrogen fixation bacteria in the root nodules. And it sure is not consistent with my personal experience from growing this plant: it will adopt well to trimming if it has adequate water and deep enough soil. In fact, it has so deep roots that if the climate is not extremely dry, it will find water if only the soil is deep enough. It really doesn't need fertilizer at all, I have never used it, but if it is added, it does not make sense with nitrogen rich fertilizer in my opinion.

Also, there are indeed disease problems with this plant: it is very susceptible to mildew, it will not die from it, but it does not look attractive.
