I think that's correct, the entry for POTC3 on IMDB states that Keith Richards is cast as Grant Sparrow [1] ALTHOUGH, this article is about an upcoming movie and as such, some things may change. Terry Rossio stated on the website Keep to the Code (here http://forums.keeptothecode.com//viewtopic.php?p=340417&highlight=#340417), that Keith Richards' character's name is Captian Teague. It is also ONLY A RUMOR that he is Jack's dad. Picture I was at the IMDB forums and saw a link to an article on a fansite. Also they had a picture of Keith Richards in a pirate costume looking like Jack Sparrow. Is this a real picture of the character or some kind of promotion thing? That is not a picture of Captian Teague. As of now, there is NO officially released picture of him. You're fucking retarded if you don't think that's Captain Teague. Page Title Change? I think the title of this page should be changed to Captian Teague, since that is what Terry Rossio said his name is on the website Keep To The Code. The article states 'Teague warns Jack against searching for immortality, saying that living forever is a curse if one is lonely.'. I disagree with that interpretation of 'living with yourself'. I propose that Teague meant that Jack would have to live with the consquences of his actions, his conscience, forever. That's how I understand 'How can you live with yourself?'. Had Teague said 'living by yourself' then yes, loneliness. Besides, has Jack ever been shown to be lonely? That was his worst fear, not having anyone to boss around, such as being trapped always in the same boredom place. I think what Teague means something different. Jack tries to search for a life that never ends, but Teague tells him that it doesn't matter how much you'll live, as long as you live doing what you like, doing what you think is right. «Living with yourself» I think is another way to say «be yoursef». So the question of being Jack's father is answered. Teague also denies finding the fountain of youth in the tavern scene, of course he could be immortal from another source. Teague's giving Jack advice as to how to survive, you know, by "living alone", because Teague lost his wife and that ripped him out. There is no real evidence that Teague and his wife had a very close relationship in the first place or that she was dead long enough for Teague to have simply been speaking from the experience of feeling deep personal pain over a few decades as opposed to Jack's goal of eternity.
