Conceptual mistakes and large texts with unsourced material

I appreciate the efforts of the user who recently contributed to the article. However there is a fundamental mistake with the subject, this article is about Caporales and not Saya (the confusion arouse after a song from the musical group Kjarkas) but academically speaking there is absolutely no doubt about the creators of this dance which are Victor and Vicente Estrada Pacheco who created this dance in 1969 and the introduction should mention that and don't confuse the reader with another dance; the article can be expanded but those concepts can't be mixed and it's worst if it comes from unsourced material or taken from a blog or self-published sources. I won't revert any changes yet waiting for the contributor who made the recent changes to provide sources and fix the formatting for some days. Being in Bolivia, it is a little hard to log on every day without 2 pesos. I believe the discussion on Ballet style Saya and Caporal, however similar, should be in the Saya article. Although it is nessecary to stress the difference between Saya AfroBoliviana, Modern Saya, and Caporales. Not so much about Afro style, but between Modern Style and Caporales, since they are usually mistaken due to the similarity between them. --Danadrianrico (talk) 21:43, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello Erebedhel. It is very hard to provide any information other than word of mouth and\or videos (on youtube.) It is something that you really know if you are involved in the performing; Mostly the difference is in stylistic rather than a concrete historical invention. Now if you would like to see these videos, I can send you some links. However, I believe it is different and valid enough to warrant a small article (like Diablada of Oruro and Puno.) The problem is that if that's the case it wouldn't constitute encyclopedic material, Wikipedia does not allow original research but compiles information that was already documented elsewhere. No, Caporales is a dance that was indeed created in Bolivia. There are several cultural links between Bolivia and Peru that are particularly obvious in terms of certain dances; especially since southeastern Peru is part of the Aymara sphere of culture. However, even though Caporales is based on past traditional dances (particularly Saya), it was created in 1969 and its specific history is recorded to have been in La Paz.--MarshalN20 | ^Talk 04:22, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect Translation
