Stub
editSeems to me like this article is almost complete. If there isn't much more too add, remove the stub labels. Falls End (T, C) 00:27, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
New Torchbearers International article....a duplicate?
editThis new article indicates it is the same organization, and there are no references on the capernwray site...any references or announcements that should be referenced? Here's the page: Torchbearers International. Thanks, Flowanda 02:46, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Split the Capernwray Harbour section into another article
editPerhaps this article should be split, as most of the emphasis of the entire word count of this article is in relation to Capernwray Harbour, which can be argued is a significant entity unto itself, comprises a very large property and natural resource, and provides services in wide usage by the educational community of the area. Don't erase factual info
editPlease do not change the factual information on this page just because you have theological presuppositions that make the truth inconvenient. Thomas' quietism is factual, and corroborated by multiple sources all of which I footnoted. Just to be thorough, I verified my information with Dr. Jeffrey Mallinson (Doctor of Philosophy, Oxford University, United Kingdom, former head of theology dept @ CCU), Dr. Frank Ames (Biblical studies professor), and Dr. Darrell Ferguson (pastor, author on nouthetic counseling) and they all verified the accuracy of my description without hesitation. I also personally called the Keswick Convention to verify that he had been affiliated with them in the past and they said without question he was. So unless you have FACTUAL evidence to the contrary, don't erase it.
Simply state theology
editDoesn't this article need a simple, generous statement of any theological aspects? My personal experience of CWFOT teaching is that it has been respectful and open.
I would also appreciate properly signed contributions, though I can live with the anons...
Also, while remaining true to the Ian Thomas history, the theology has remained active and relevant for current students. I will gladly take some time, when I get it, to gather the existing Theology section and try to make it accessible and NPOV.
