That's it? There is so much more.

There's so much more to this history of our public radio stations, where is it? Nothing about the takeover of a student/faculty operated station by a private/professional broadcasting group. Rumors at that time were that the students were contemplating adding an LBGT program to the schedule and the transfer was initially motivated to prevent that from happening. The stations are now in serious trouble--The music station has already cut some its most interesting programs and fired 12 staff. But the problems have gone on for decades and there's a lot of history behind them. I'm not an historian or media expert and could not take it on. But I think there needs to be full history on this page, the good, the bad, and the ugly. These 'Cliff Notes' just won't do. Hope somebody has the expertise to put a real history on the page, from its beginnings to what appears to be close to a serious failure. Redslider (talk) 06:21, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

And now, the recent surprise cancellations of much loved local programs, the abrupt firing of program hosts and other station staff without notice, and the just released independent audit that has uncovered serious financial mismanagement of the station resulting in Sacramento State's taking back management of the stations' financial affairs. This article is in need of serious updating by a competent historian of media and public broadcasting. Redslider (talk) 19:44, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
