I would propose adding in the material from the Schuylkill and Susquehanna Navigation Company founded in 1792. It was the unsuccessful predecessor to the Union canal. Cheers Risk Engineer (talk) 21:52, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
Missing Roman canal and some other problems edit
There was a canal between Rome and Portus in Roman times. Also, the Fossa Carolina is billed as the first artificial European canal but Roman canals were already built in Europe. I believe that "post Roman" or some other indication is in order.104.181.247.245 (talk) 23:03, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
What happened to Britain for canal age? edit
The British canal age is probably the most significant as it was part of the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. It looks as if all British info has been vandalized here. I'm a Yank and get tired of the Brit centric stuff where it shouldn't be, but canals are VERY much a Brit thing.104.181.247.245 (talk) 23:08, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
