Series 5 edit

@YeahYeahYeah19: Hi I have just started watching Series 5 of Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away!. I releaise there some confusion over episode numbering.

It strange as I just watching episode 34, which says in the link but if you go on the below link it says its episode 26 on the page itself.

I will asked for this to be fixed.

Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk)

The same is also true for episode 33 being listed as episode 24

"Breadline Britain" special edit

The "Breadline Britain Special" is not a unique episode - I've just watched the original transmission on "Box of Broadcasts" and it's just a repeat of series 4A, episode 5, with absolutely no new content or narration whatsoever - it's literally a rerun of the exact same episode, so I'm removing it.

Episode descriptions edit

Any unsourced episode descriptions which describe living people need to be removed. I'm happy to give a little time for others to find sources and will look myself. This isn't like descriptions of fiction shows as real living people are involved, see WP:BLP for more info. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 18:18, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm afraid I don't see a problem. The descriptions are very general and any names used are those of cast members. I have seen (most) of the show and can confirm that they are accurate.--Auric talk 20:11, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
The cast members are living people. Whether you (or I) can confirm their veracity makes not the slightest difference, see WP:RS, our reliable sources policy, for more details. We don't rely on the say-so of editors. And the descriptions are quite specific enough to incur possible BLP violations, I'm afraid. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 08:46, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
An alternative would be to remove the names of the bailiffs and just say two bailiffs, that way we'd be BLP compliant and I wouldn't demand refs or deletion, it is BLP that concerns me. But there may be refs available. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 08:49, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
I suggest we change all the unsourced episodes as I have done to Series 2, Episode 1. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 12:25, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Removing the names is rather confusing, as there are 15 bailiffs on the show. Why not look for more sources?--Auric talk 17:00, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Radio Times has descriptions of all the episodes, with the cast's names used. The descriptions are less complete, but can at least be used to verify their presence in the episodes. The first five episodes are cited in the article, but all can be cited this way.--Auric talk 17:32, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 18:18, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
The refs are reasonably easy to format, it'll take a while amtching descriptions but am happy to take on this task. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 20:05, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Different Series edit

I have watched the series again (different source than first time I watched it) It was different at first different editing especially in the case Neil Ruddock, the second time faces where blanked out, and it was heavily edited to remove paul sucking up to the former football removed all references for going for a drink together which became edited to he didnt turn up to arrange payment (When it was all ready arranged) then paul turning up the heat in revenge by suggesting the person owed money spend 5000 to start bankruptcy against him. Also remake a lot of faces blanked out and repeating of cases mixed with new cases in same episode. I assume the details of this are hard or impossible to find that why its not in the article?--Cynthia BrownSmyth (talk) 06:47, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
