... that Tom Hayden(pictured) used his Campaign for Economic Democracy to help pass a rent control measure in Santa Monica, California? The Los Angeles Times source wrote, "The group’s biggest victory came in 1979 when CED helped engineer passage of the city’s rugged rent control law by providing a considerable amount of manpower, money and political expertise."
Overall: The source states that the CED "helped" pass rent control laws, so I altered the hook and article to state that. If you have no objection to the changes Binksternet, this one looks ready for promotion. Gatoclass (talk) 12:35, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
