I visited the site today - use google maps to find "camp tousey road" and your GPS will take you there. It is now sold off as lots for private homes, so if you go there, show some respect for the privacy of homeowners. But many lots are still for sale and one house is for sale as well. I saw workmen restoring old Mohawk cabins and many older cabins were still around. The dining hall was overgrown with trees and weeds. The arts and crafts building (boathouse) was still standing but apparently abandoned. Sort of sad but it was nice to see it again. The island seems a lot closer than it did when I was 13 years old! I hope to post some pictures or a video on Youtube or wikipedia commons. I am not a regular wikipedia editor, though. I edited the page to reformat the tousey song and vespers and add a comment on the current state of the property.64.19.88.157 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:23, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
UPDATE: I spent an hour revising the listing to reformat the poorly formatted Camp Tousey song and update the end of entry which says "it is unknown what the site is being used for today".
Apparently some old queen didn't like that and deleted my entry almost immediately, claiming that it contained "prejudicial language" - I guess using "housing development" to describe a housing development is "prejudicial".
So, to heck with Wikipedia. Keep up with the inaccurate and outdated information!
