Baghdad

Camp Taji is not "60 miles" away from Baghdad. Its much, much closer. I don't remember off the top of my head but I think its more like 15 miles or so (having spent 15 months in the area).

2007 rocket attack

I don't believe this is accurate... On August 15, 2007, nine rockets hit Camp Taji, including one at the PX immediately next to the Pizza Hut booth. Two US Soldiers and two non-Iraqi civilians were killed and five US soldiers and five Iraqi civilians were wounded. One US contractor was hit by shrapnel but not injured.

I was there (one of our Soldiers was injured), but I don't recall two US Soldiers being killed during that particular attack. I also believe it was mortars, not rockets. Could someone please verify? — Preceding unsigned comment added by EETech (talk • contribs) 16:04, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
