WNEP Scranton, PA may also fit this list as a current call to action number that has been in service for 25+ years. It has recently garnered national attention when comments left on the line where picked up by John Oliver’s HBO network show in September 2017. They were mentioned on two occasions, one for people calling in to complain about details of the train set running in WNEP’s weather forecast and the next week when John Oliver presented WNEP with a new model trainset. This call to help line is called Talkback 16 and is not limited to comments on the news but also as an outlet for possible help with certaian issues.
