School is for-profit edit

Recent change is incorrect - school is a for-profit entity. See reference below.

"If the hospital ends up going nonprofit will the medical school turn nonprofit as well?

No, we will not be. We will not change the way we are. We are very proud of what we do. We are almost sending out a message that the business sector can do a much better job in many things. I am so proud of what we do, and what we have done." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.166.63.18 (talk) 23:33, 4 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

There has been some back and forth editing in the past few days regarding the for-profit status of the school. Notably the source https://elkgrovetribune.com/cnu-becomes-non-profit-city-council-approves-900-million-bonds-tefra/ has been cited as evidence that the school is non-profit, but this source does not mention the school. University educational institutions and their hospitals are administered independently, and there is no reason to believe that the hospital going non-profit has any effect on the school's profit-seeking status. I added an additional source https://www.bizjournals.com/sacramento/news/2019/11/19/california-northstate-ceo-weighs-in-on-why-elk.html including a quote from the CNU CEO in which he responds to a question regarding the medical school's nonprofit status. The question was "If the hospital ends up going nonprofit will the medical school turn nonprofit as well?" and the answer was "No, we will not be. We will not change the way we are. We are very proud of what we do. We are almost sending out a message that the business sector can do a much better job in many things. I am so proud of what we do, and what we have done." There is sufficient evidence to demonstrate that CNUCOM remains a for-profit medical school, and as of writing, zero sources that claim CNUCOM is not-for-profit.
