Removal of anachronistic references to weight based categories
editI've removed a couple of references to Baldwin and Mendoza fighting in weight based categories which did not exist during these fighters' careers. E.g. Daniel Mendoza was English Champion rather than English Heavyweight Champion. With regard to Baldwin, the text used to say 'the leading lightweight fighter in England and was regarded by many, unofficially, as the champion of the division'. Since the lightweight division did not exist at this time, or for many decades subsequently, and there was thus no conception of a fighter being 'the champion of the division' it is surely sufficient just to describe Baldwin as 'the leading lightweight fighter in England'. All of the contemporary source material (Boxiana, etc) is united in showing that no weight-based divisions or titles existed at this time. Axad12 (talk) 18:16, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
