Family in Lincoln, NE devestated by crooked Child Support Workers

A Lincoln family is currently fighting to regain their parental rigthts after working so hard to bring them home. In 2010, the Hawk family was struggling with parenting and requested some help from Lincoln Public School workers while visiting the Hawk family home. The LPS teachers then called CPS claiming that the Hawk family was living in unsanitary conditions. CPS then showed up at the Hawk family home to find a small mess but nothing suggnificant yet still started a voluntary case which was what the Hawk family was hoping for to help them manage their 5 children, not knowing yet that the mother was pregnant with a sixth. They soon ended the voluntary case when they felt they could handle things, and was also feeling uneasy about the social worker, Michelle Sterling-Evans, after admiting they don't attend any church then being met with hostility at each visit after. Soon police came to their door with the social worker they were working with and had an order to remove the children for unsanitary conditions and child neglect. Even the officers thought the order seemed wrong but could not disobey a court order as the kids were well fed, clean, in bed, and house clean when they arrived late at night. They were ordered to court in which were made promises by the social worker and her boss Colby Holtz, that if they plead guilty to Child Neglect, the kids were be returned home and they would do some more "volunteer" services with KVC, a local company the Department of Health and Human Services was outsourcing their work to. Later to find out the promises were false and led to an 18 month long battle with the courts to return the children in which professional psychologists and psychiatrists all stated that there was no reason why the children should be out of the home and should be returned. In this time the children were passed around to foster homes that abuseed children and others that completly abandoned the children at a local daycare. It wasnt until after 18 months, DHHS pushed for termination of parental rights claiming no progress had been made with the family even though many professionals involved with the case were completly against the termination. Around the time when the court report came out terminating the parents rights to to their children, one of the foster mothers, Pastor Lezlie Petty, who has been known to be a little unstable, sent this disturbing email to the Hawk family; From: <lezlie@thebridgelincoln.org>

Subject: HA HAHA HA To: our5kids09@gmail.com This is what happens when you mess with me, now you will never see your kids again and I can adopt Rachel and Madeline and run off to NEW YORK where you'll never find us. And there is nothing you can do about it, I won, you lost. Thanks to having friends in the right places like Lori and Megan, we got the court to beleive you were unfit parents so we could have the girls. Now that its over I can say that they were all lies because a godless family like you should never have kids.

She was known to have issues with not having any daughter and only giving birth to boys, and saw her chance at daughters after two of the youngest Hawk girls was living with her. Lori Miller was a friend of Lezlie that was mentioned in the email and was also the main visitation worker for the Hawk family visits. Lori's visitation notes were shown to differ from that of all the other vistation workers throughout the case, when they could be found and not hid by KVC and DHHS. Lori's notes contained alot of twisted situations and words leaving out important information that gave context to them, while all the other visitation workers had notes that were nearly opposite of that of Lori. Still even with all that, Lori takes the stand and lies under oath about a few little things hoping no one will notice. Now the Hawk family are on their second appeal trying to get their parental rights back but it is not looking good. They have no one to help them and incompetant lawyers that barely fight for them. If anyone can help this family get their kids back home, they are more than willing to do whatever it takes to get thier family back together.
