There has been considerable coverage of CVECAs in microfinance literature in recent years, especially the Malian example, based on the essential point that CVECAs may be capable of reaching remote and rural areas with financial services more effectively than most other models of service delivery. Much of this material is written by Renee Chao-Beroff, the founder of this approach. It is harder to find independent assessments.
