Creole edit

It's important to consider, that in Reunion, everybody's Creole (tout le monde est Créole), well nearly if you take out metropolitains and other immigrants.Domsta333 (talk) 12:57, 27 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Requested move edit

Réunionnaise Creole PeopleCafre

  • Uh yeah partly for that reason I think this should actually get moved to Cafre since that's what it's actually about; that's the word people use there for what's described in the article for the most part.
Moringue should maybe be moved to Culture of the Indian Ocean Islands- why that's a single article anyway rather than several separate ones I don't know - as well as some info on it being at Réunion. Munci (talk) 14:18, 27 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Translation of French text: At Réunion, contrary to other countries or regions of the south-west of the Indian Ocean, the term is common use. It means "any individual whose phenotype goes back more or less back to African origins and / or Malagasy, as described by the sociologist Paul Mayoka in his essay "The image of the cafre".". • The best move was to split the article in two: Cafres and Créoles (Réunion). Cafres are Créoles in Réunion but not all Créoles are Cafres. Thierry Caro (talk) 13:56, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • I've removed the requested move tag, as it is unclear what move is being requested and why, and there is no support for a move. Fences&Windows 23:40, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
