Malu Trevejo

edit

Is there any definitive source to show she has been signed? From what I can find (last time I looked, which was hours ago) she had claimed on social media to have been signed, and multiple online sources were simply reporting what she was claiming. I don't know that that's enough. Claims can be made prematurely, intentionally or by mistake. Maybe she is mistaken. Maybe she was misinformed. Deals that are under discussion can fall though. Verbal agreements may not make it to legal agreements. Should we just remove this until there is better evidence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meters (talkcontribs) 09:42, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

And various non-RS sites are now saying that she has removed the social media post where she claimed to have signed, and even that it was fake. I think this should be pulled until we know for sure. Meters (talk) 10:02, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Removed "pending clarification of situation and better sources." Still nothing but her social media post and various sites repeating what she claimed. This should not be restored unless we have reliable sources to show that she is actually signed, not just that she claimed to have been signed. Meters (talk) 22:59, 19 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
HIPHOPMILL now says "It has been confirmed that Cuban-born American singer Malu Trevejo has officially signed to Cactus Jack and Atlantic Record labels." https://hiphopmill.com/2021/10/malu-trevejo-drops-new-song-complicado-under-cactus-jack-atlantic-records-labels/ Unfortunately this is a blog site and I don't know that we can use it. If it's considered a news blog (seems doubtful) it's OK under WP:NEWSBLOG, otherwise it's not acceptable under WP:BLOGS.
There have been claims elsewhere that her latest single is on Spotify under the Cactus Jack label, and thus she is signed to Cactus Jack. Isn't it possible that this was a one-off del to publish that song without signing Meters (talk) 20:10, 22 October 2021 (UTC) her for future work? Meters (talk) 20:10, 22 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
