Ghost Story? edit

I live in the area, have never heard this ghost story, and could find no references to it through google. So I removed this text:

What you should know about Lake Cachuma is that it is legend to have had rumor that multiple murders have happened there over the years and that it is haunted by a man named Waldo Archix, a German man who was said to have killed 6 kids on a boat in the early 80's, then drowned himself in the lake. To this day people still say they see sightings on the lake and its camp grounds of kids running around, and a tall slim, smiling man often standing on the lake with a shard of glass in his hand.

If a source is found to support this claim, at least the grammar should be corrected.

I believe there was a story with that theme in a Huel Howser(sp?) episode (possibly "CA's Gold") on the KCET PBS affiliate in Los Angeles, but seem to recall that it took place at a different CA lake. Jw4nvc Jw4nvc (talk) 05:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

New Photos edit

I've just uploaded to Wiki Commons some new aerial photos of the lake, and added two of them to the article. I also uploaded Aerial-LakeCachumaRegionEvw.jpg and made it the same size as the one currently in the infobox, in case that would be useful. I fly over the lake often, and will try to get a clear photo that shows the whole lake in context but of course it will depend on weather conditions since often it's hazy as both region photos demonstrate. Well, I got some better shots of the whole lake today, so I'm going to upload them and add one to the page. Feel free to add the other one from my WC page or revert. Jw4nvc (talk) 02:35, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
