Criticism Section edit

After catching an IP editor adding incited criticism, I decided to remove the whole section and there are for references provided at all. CaptRik (talk) 20:58, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also removed the external link as it breaches WP:ELNO. CaptRik (talk) 21:09, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I've just re-removed this section. It was personal commentary written in encyclopaedic language and referenced almost exclusively to obviously unreliable sources, many of which weren't actually about this AFV. Wikipedia isn't some army technology forum. Nick-D (talk) 11:37, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Change article name edit

The name of the series of vehicle is Clouded Leopard. CM-32 is a variant of it, including CM-33 and CM-34.See the Chinese article page for clarification. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chokoladesu (talkcontribs) 19:52, 25 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree with your suggestion that we re-name the page Clouded Leopard or something similar, especially since they keep coming out with new variants. Obviously we couldn’t use Clouded Leopard but something like Clouded Leopard (vehicle) or Clouded Leopard (IFV) would be a good title. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 15:14, 6 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I think Clouded Leopard Armoured Vehicle (like the CN wiki)works fine. The series span more than a IFV. Chokoladesu (talk) 16:56, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

CM-31 edit

Whether or not the CM-31 is the first clouded leopard variant or even a part of the family at all has been questioned twice, no source has been provided through so I’m creating this section as a space for people to constructively discuss the CM-31s place in this article and the larger questions about variants. @Chokoladesu: thanks for the interest you’ve shown in editing this article! I don’t want you to get the wrong idea because I know it sucks to be reverted, these reverts aren’t a judgement of you... You’ve been bold and thats a great thing, I’m sorry nobody responded to your earlier talk page listing and personally I missed it and will add a comment up there as soon as I’m done with this one. If it turns out that the CM-31 isn't part of the Clouded Leopard family how do you think we should list it? Under a different heading than variants or perhaps its own page? Horse Eye Jack (talk) 15:12, 6 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why were CM31 pictures added??? And most importantly why is it still listed as a variant which it is not?? And it is not based on the CM31, they are two completely different vehicles. These are basic facts that one can quickly verify and is not worth debating and edit warring over. Just look at the Chinese wiki page for example. Chokoladesu (talk) 16:25, 26 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
