While the book is presented as being non-fiction, none of the claims that O'Neill makes are easily found on the web. Unless I haven't found it using certain search terms, but how can it be sure that the book is based on fact? You can't. O'Neill explores countless theories in the book, but doing so does not make it a fiction book. The nonfiction genre includes a wide variety of works, even when prevailing information contradicts what is presented as nonfiction. It is probably too late for this article, but please note the following. I have multiple degrees in writing and have worked as a technical writer and an editor, so I know what I am talking about. Just because a title is typeset in all capital letters does not mean that the word itself is actually all capitals. Book designers set titles in all caps for the visual appeal. It is more attention-getting to do so. You run across this kind of thing when someone uses the caps lock key when typing in Microsoft Word or another word processor. In that case, THIS is not the same as this or even This. They are all three different text strings and in a book or other title, capitalization counts. The actual title of the book is Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties. The article title isn't capitalized merely in accordance with the cover's typeset. It's capitalized because 'CHAOS' is titled after Operation CHAOS, not Operation Chaos. Every direct source from the book's publisher capitalized the title at its first publication. The author similarly has only used 'CHAOS'.
